Odoo PrestaShop connector: everything it syncs and what it costs

An order comes into your shop at eleven at night, and by the next morning it is already in Odoo, with its invoice, the Stripe payment recorded and the PDF in the customer's account, without anyone copying a thing. That is what the BK Modules Odoo PrestaShop connector does: it integrates Odoo with PrestaShop so the shop sells and Odoo runs the business, each doing its own job. Here is everything it does, which is a lot more than passing orders across.

We use it every day in our own shop. It is built for anyone who runs their company in Odoo, or is about to, and never wants to retype an order or reconcile invoices by hand again.

What gets synced between PrestaShop and Odoo?

Syncing PrestaShop with Odoo covers almost everything you currently move by hand from one side to the other.

Orders and invoices

  • Every shop order lands in Odoo on its own as a sales order, with shipping and discounts, each amount in its own account. The customer is recognised by VAT number or email, without creating a duplicate, and their VAT number can be checked against VIES.
  • You decide what Odoo does at each order status: confirm, invoice, register the payment, send the invoice or cancel. To get you started there are two templates, "Pay in advance" and "Invoice on shipping".
  • The invoice adds up to exactly what the shop charged, to the cent and with its taxes. If something does not match, it is not posted, and you are shown the difference line by line.
  • The legal invoice is Odoo's, and only one: the shop stops issuing its own and shows the Odoo invoice in the order history, with its address in the customer's language.
  • The invoice email is sent by the shop, in the customer's language, even if Odoo does not have that language.
  • Shop refunds arrive as credit notes, full or partial, and their PDF is the one the customer downloads.
  • If you used to invoice by hand, bring in your past orders: each one adopts the invoice it already had instead of duplicating it.

Catalogue and prices

  • Products with their variants, images, translations, features, tags and accessories, from Odoo to the shop.
  • You choose who owns each piece of data: Odoo, Odoo only when the product is created, or the shop. What you already look after in PrestaShop (SEO texts, photos) stays as it is.
  • The price each customer sees is the one Odoo calculates: by shop, currency, customer group, customer, combination, quantity and promotion dates.
  • Simulate shows you, before anything is touched, what the shop would receive for a product, and Check consistency lists the differences across the whole catalogue.
  • Anything that deactivates or deletes something in the shop never goes out on its own: it waits for you to apply it.

Stock and shipping

  • With Inventory, Odoo sends the stock (available, on hand or forecast), adding up the warehouses you choose for each shop, on every movement.
  • When you validate the delivery order in Odoo, the shop receives the tracking number and the order moves to shipped; if you want, the invoice goes out at that moment.

What about Stripe payments and refunds?

With Stripe, every payment lands in Odoo net of the fee, just as Stripe pays it out: a single entry with what you actually receive, the fee in its own account and the customer's invoice marked as paid. And the PDF the customer receives already says "Paid", with the method and date, and no bank details to pay again.

Refunds reconcile on their own too, wherever you make them: from your payment module's button in the shop, from the Stripe dashboard or from Odoo. The credit note reaches Odoo paid with what actually left Stripe, also with the official Stripe module.

And with our subscriptions module you can refund straight from Odoo: "Refund in the shop" on the order or its invoice, you type how much and why, and the shop refunds the customer through the same method they paid with and sends them their credit slip.

Does it work with subscriptions?

Yes, and it is one of its new features. Odoo Community has no subscriptions; with Stripe Subscriptions for PrestaShop in the shop, you mark a product in Odoo as a Subscription product and give it its plan: billing period, free trial, minimum term, pause, sign-up fee and renewal price. The shop sells it with Stripe.

  • Every sign-up, renewal and reactivation is an order that lands in Odoo flagged as such, with its invoice and its net payment, and a "Renewals" filter to see them all together.
  • In Odoo you see each subscription with its current status (active, on trial, payment pending, paused, ended), updated as soon as the customer pays, pauses or cancels.

What about the other modules in my shop?

All BK Modules modules work alongside the connector, and several make it better. Odoo recognises them and tells you, next to each option, which one improves it:

  • B2B professional registration (bkregistrovalidado): VAT numbers checked against VIES at sign-up, the missing VAT number requested at checkout, and the intra-EU exemption, which reaches Odoo without tax, just as the shop charged it.
  • Online withdrawal (bkwithdrawal): the withdrawal required by the EU moves the order to the status you choose, and Odoo carries out the steps for that status, for example cancelling.
  • Virtual products with combinations (bkvirtualcombinations): your Odoo services with variants are published without shipping.
  • Guarantee notice (bkguarantee): its label takes the manufacturer's brand and the model the connector sends from Odoo.
  • Email design (bkmaildesigner): the invoice email goes out with your shop's header and footer.
  • Geolocation (bkgeoloc): each country's currency goes to its own pricelist, and an invoice link opens in the customer's language.
  • Address autocomplete (bkaddresscomplete): complete addresses, fewer stuck orders.

Will my customers see their Odoo invoices in the shop?

Yes, if you switch on the portal. Under "My account" they get My invoices and Quotations and orders, including ones that did not come from the shop: a service or a quotation you created in Odoo. The customer searches, filters by year or status, downloads the PDF, pays an outstanding invoice or accepts and signs a quotation in Odoo, and goes back to their shop account.

Does it work with my version of Odoo?

It works with Odoo Community 17, 18, 19 and 20, with the same features in all four, on your own server or on Odoo.sh (Odoo Online does not allow third-party modules). It only needs Sales, plus Inventory if you want Odoo to handle stock. No Enterprise required. On the shop side, PrestaShop 1.7.6 to 9.x, with the classic and Hummingbird themes; we test it on ten shops running those versions.

What if I have several shops?

A single Odoo connects several PrestaShop installations and every shop in a multistore, each with its own invoice sequence, its pricelists, its warehouse and its own rules. With several companies in Odoo, each connection invoices in its own company.

What happens if something goes wrong?

It tells you in plain language: which order, what data is missing and where to fix it, in Odoo or in the shop, with a direct link. You fix it, click "Retry" and it carries on from the step that failed, without duplicating anything. And the licence never stops your orders: even if it were no longer valid, everything already connected keeps working.

Who installs it?

You can do it yourself: a wizard walks you step by step through the connection, warehouses, journals, taxes and order flow, and the connector manual explains every decision. If you are starting from PrestaShop, the initial import brings your products and customers into Odoo, showing you first what it is going to create. With the licence, we stay with you until the first order invoices itself.

If you would rather not touch anything, we install it for you: both components, the wizard, the mappings for statuses, payments, carriers and taxes, the catalogue link and a real order checked all the way until its invoice is in the shop.

How much does the Odoo PrestaShop connector cost?

  • Licence: €399, for life, for one Odoo version and one shop, including its test copies.
  • Additional shop: €99 each, or unlimited shops for €490.
  • Continuity Plan: €199 a year (plus €49 per additional shop; €390 with unlimited shops). It includes updates, new versions of Odoo, PrestaShop and PHP, priority support and adjustment hours every quarter.
  • Installation and setup: €390.

Without the plan nothing gets switched off: the connector keeps working with what you bought. These are October 2026 prices and may vary slightly depending on what your shop needs. Anything unique to your business is built to measure, separately.

For your technical team

There are two components: an Odoo addon and a dedicated PrestaShop module, without opening the webservice. Every request is signed and expires after 5 minutes. The queue runs on Odoo's scheduled actions, with nothing to configure on the server, and if your Odoo is reachable from outside, the shop notifies it as soon as there is an order; if not, Odoo checks every minute. A copy of Odoo restored for testing stays disconnected and never writes to the live shop.

You will find the Odoo PrestaShop connector right below this article: choose your Odoo version, how many shops, and whether you want it with updates or installed, and see what you pay today. Everything we do with Odoo is on our Odoo page.
