PrestaShop error 500 or blank screen: what to do right now
Your PrestaShop shop shows error 500 or a blank page: what to do now without making it worse, how to see the real error…
How much does an online store cost in 2026? Your own store, with your brand, card payments and the first year of hosting included, costs from €499, paid once. If you sell handmade candles and want your customers paying from their phones this season, that gets your store up and running in about 10 working days; from the second year on, you only pay for hosting: €169 a year.
It's often hard to know what you'll pay without asking for a quote and waiting days for a reply. Here are the real prices, what each one includes, and what you pay once versus every year. And if you'd rather see it with your own numbers, the "What do you need?" assistant gives you the price instantly as you choose.
The starting point is the basic online store: €499, one-off payment. It's not an empty template. It includes:
And the pages every store needs come already designed: home, categories, product page, search, cart and checkout, my account and orders, contact, legal notice, privacy, cookies, terms of sale, and shipping and returns.
From there, the price only goes up with what you add. A store with two extra pages, a second language and a new logo comes to €835 in total, paid once.
This is the part that raises the most questions, so here's a simple table:
| Item | How it's paid | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Basic online store (with the first year of hosting and domain) | Once | €499 |
| Each extra page (offers, new arrivals, size guide, FAQ…) | Once | €59 |
| Each additional language | Once | €119 |
| Logo and brand identity | Once | €99 |
| Launch SEO strategy | Once | €299 |
| Google Shopping | Once | €249 |
| Blog with your first articles | Once | €119 |
| Live training (2 hours) | Once | €90 |
| Hosting from the second year | Every year | €169 |
| Maintenance (optional) | Every year | from €590 |
The store's recurring costs are always billed yearly, never monthly. Basic hosting includes 15 GB of NVMe disk, 1 vCPU and 1.5 GB of RAM reserved for your store, domain, SSL, tuned Cloudflare, bot protection and daily off-server backups kept for 30 days. We measure resources, not visits: if you hit the limit for several days, we'll let you know before changing anything.
If you already have your own hosting or server, we set up the store there at no cost: just give us access.
It's optional and always separate from hosting. From €590 a year you get someone who answers when something breaks (a payment that doesn't go through, emails that don't arrive), your modules kept up to date and tested first, store monitoring and 14 hours a year for small tweaks. Daily backups come with the hosting. If you want a team working on growing your store (custom development, SEO, campaigns), there's the Growth Plan, from €4,999 a year with 120 hours of work.
With us, the price doesn't go up by surprise: it goes up with what you choose. What moves the figure most:
As a rough guide, on the market a custom store built by an agency usually ranges from a few thousand euros to quite a lot more, depending on what it includes. That's why it pays to know what each price includes before comparing.
All three are good options; the difference lies in how you pay and who owns the store.
What if you don't need to sell products, but a website with bookings? For a hair salon, a clinic or a restaurant, BookflowR is our platform: a website with your brand, 24-hour bookings and reminders, from €12.99 a month or €129 a year, with 30 days free and no commitment.
The basic store is live in 10 working days. Each extra page adds a day, each language two, and bringing data over from another store, another two. The example store (two extra pages and a second language) would be ready in about 14 days.
What speeds things up most is having your copy, your photos and your first products to hand. If you have them, we take care of the rest.
Choose your pages, your languages and anything you want to add, and you'll see the total instantly: what you pay once, what you pay every year and when it would be ready. No waiting for a quote.
